Description:
The product of fine breeding. She carried herself with the poise that only her mother could have taught her, mahogany hair and green eyes the telltale signs of just which family she belonged to. Outwardly, she appeared delicate and cordial; well-mannered and conversational. Slender figure was dressed in fine off-white, black ivy embroidery and trim adding just a touch of contrast to break things up a bit. Behind those green eyes laid a cunning, calculating mind that would've been an asset, had she been born a man. Unnervingly close to her family (particularly her eldest brother), Roselyn had been fashioned by influence, power, and propriety. A creature of her mother's cunning, with all of her father's charm. Somehow, she pulled it off flawlessly.

Character Background:
The eldest daughter to Mereavus and Samuel Alexston. Very much like her mother, she grew up and was taught of poise and propriety practically (...) from birth, though she took a very strong interest to her father's more outdoorsy nature. Conveniently aloof every now and again, she spent much of her leisurely time in the garden either taking to a book, drawing, or practicing some sort of simple stitching to perhaps one day reach her mother's level of mastery where tapestries were concerned.
Though under strict rules to behave properly at all times, her sarcastic (sometimes downright crass) sense of humor made it relatively easy for her to talk herself out of trouble with her siblings or father - Mother was always wise to that sort of thing. Her eldest brother William was the apple of her eye. Confidants, they told each other everything and to this day still have a very close bond.
When she turned 17, she was used as the pawn between Drysllthen and Sarmagh to form an alliance, and Roselyn became Mereavus' so-called trump card. Ultimately, "Marry my daughter and you'll have our allegiance".
Thrown into a new world, she's grateful for her own self-sufficience and William's company. Somewhere beneath that polished exterior, part of her is afraid she'll fail or fall apart entirely. Thankfully, big brother is there to help her keep her sanity.
