Pacing his room through out the night the young Lord Wrenfrith ignored hisstudies as anotherthought had come to his mind. As of late he'd been speaking with Nalani whom he'd met in the library, they began to get romanticly involved but not as far as a touch to the lips.
"What am I to do.." he would mutter in frustration, normally he would goto his half brother Drysllthen who was now king but he knew he was far too busy with other things and could not take time away to deal wth suh a matter. ecause now she had come to his room in the middle of his study and said it would not work, she had spoken with other ladies and with she being of lower status would not be accepted. Deorwulf believed that he would one day have an arranged marraige or find a women on his own, but to hear those words come from Nalani broke his heart. At a young age and not fully understanding love he was now growing curious if this was even real love or was it just fake. He'd not even seen his mother as of late so he could not speak to her of this, the best he coulddo was endure for the time being and take the advice to not have contact with Nalani.
"It.. is for the best... Right?" The lad whispered as he stared into the flames of the fire dancing in the fireplace, picking up a glass of wine he had poured an hour ago and drank it down quickly. He shook his head and sat at his desk, looking down at a mess of papers and maps he had been making.
"I must speak with the king... I mu speak with Drysllthen.." The lad whispered, thinking he was old enough now to do something better with his life.
