Character Background:
Eldest son of Lord Wenfrith, Ealdormen of Ygriss, and Garnett Valenti. Always in the shadow of his half-brother Drysllthen, he grew up in competition and coldness for him, feeling that his birthright as heir to the Wenfrith estate had been stolen. Even his siblings adored and idolized Drysllthen. These events drove him for the attempt of perfection but his mentality was too unstable to find it. Drowning himself in intense exercise regiments, eccentric hobbies, womanizing, and bloodsports, he walks a fine line between charismatic nobility and criminal insanity. With Drysllthen assuming the throne of Nharati, Derryk finally inherits his birthright of Ealdormen of Ygriss. But he's far from as happy as he thought he would be, having the title returned to him only by default... because his brother became better than the position. A fact that drives the frigid hatred for him even further.
