The Alt Thread

As you may have noticed, we've begun linking character names to the character sheets on the list of characters, but because we can only have one sheet per username on the forum, not all of the characters have sheets. We can, however, link to individual messages.

So, if you have an alt (or alts), please post what is basically a character sheet on this thread (one character per post). The basic form is below, but feel free to add to it if you like.

Just like with the character sheets, it'll be up to you to keep the information up-to-date, so edit your posts as needed. Also, if you want your character application to help with this, just let one of the management know and we'll send it to you via forum PM. Let me know if you have any questions!

Description: Less looming, less muscular, less imposing than his elder sibling. More aquiline, more slender, more blind than his younger. The exiled Valenti was constantly swathed in black and blue, the robes of religious status draped over his willowy form and drowned his physique into vague reams of fabric. A thick wound-around-thrice sash at his stomach persuaded the eye that he was naturally at the far end of slender. The hood always, without fail, covered his face to the tip of his angular nose, revealing only lips, the perfectly groomed, slim line of dark facial hair rising from either side of his narrow, square chin to meet with the corner of his lips. Unable to see his family, he could hardly know what a peculiar image he posed next to them.

Tight leather trousers padded on the knees and sides, and equally formed, rough tunic that must have been quite uncomfortable but very hearty. His hands bore fingerless gloves, but his feet were always bare and dirty. Yet despite the spartan poverty he bore, he was pure majesty. It was all carried in the stature, in the way his shaved clean head rose majestically into the air, carrying noble, gaunt, clean-shaven features and brooding, dark eyes. Tattoos peek out of the cloth of his throat and fingertips, dark and spiked designs that wrapped viciously around itself and his flesh.

Appearance = Standing an inch over six feet, the doctor was quite a sight to behold. Midnight locks are caught at the back of the neck, held in place by a simple, leather thong. Dark blue eyes peer about, surprisingly gentle, from a face deeply tanned by the sun's rays. Attire is simple; light brown tunic atop black trousers. Black, leather boots reach to the knee, and always carried at his side is a medium sized, brown pouch.

Sample Post = The smoke was thick and heavy on the battlefield. What once had been a place of serene peace was now littered with the fallen forms of the injured and dying. Their moans filled the air, some calling for help, others for their loves, and the handful who just wanted their mothers. That always seemed to be the case. Take the toughest, bravest Knight in the world, and when they were facing death, the only thing desired was the comfort of a Matriarch's arms.
Jacob peered up at the sky for a moment, noting the time to be just an hour past dawn. All night he had waited, listening to the sounds of battle, tending to those who were lucky enough to be dragged back to the tent he had set up. Now, it was time to search for those still alive on the field. Hefting his bag onto his shoulder, the weight suddenly seemed too much to bear. The rolls of bandages, sharp knives, thread, needles, and antiseptics could not have weighed more than a few pounds. Yet, to the doctor, it may as well have weighed a thousand. With a heavy sigh, he stepped onto the charred, bloody grass, heading for the first hand that reached out to him.

*Description:Just how did a man get so pretty? Many asked that as they beheld the cerulean gaze and sunkissed, shoulder length locks of this tall one; and horror of horrors, was that rose hued rouge faintly coloring his cheeks and lips? Bright pink longcoat, trimmed in gold embroidery covered a snowy white shirt, while an ellaborate, and overdone, lace cravat graced his neck and chest. The same lace peeked from beneath his sleeves, covering elegant hands. Garish, purple silk breeches stretched over long legs, the only normal clothing seeming to be the shiny, black hessians stretching to midknee. Cousin to the King, the effeminate male seemed to be his polar opposite in every way.

*Sample post:Reudi Valenti breezed into the roadside inn in his usual, flamboyant manner. "Never fear, your Reudi is here!" he called out in a high, singsongy tone. Of course, the villagers, guards, and knights present froze upon seeing such a man. Why, he even seemed to be wearing ladies' makeup! Taking a moment to adjust the lace at his throat and wrist, making sure it was <i>just</i> so, he raised a pale, slender hand in the air. "Where is the music and wine?" The place was really quite rustic, what one would expect from a village tavern, yet Reudi acted as if it were the grandest place in the entire kingdom! "And more so... <i>where</i> are the men?" That made many eyes fly wide open. Within seconds, amid a flurry of muttered excuses and tossed coppers, almost everyone present escaped the tavern, and the colorful hurricane that was Reudi. All that remained was the burly, scowling owner and two serving wenches; one middle aged and sporting greying hair, and the other a little young thing, about twenty years of age, and blessed with a wonderfully large bosom. Of course, it was the latter that he made a beeline for, plastering on his most charming smile and grabbing her about the waist. As he pulled her toward him with a surprising strength, she could not help but giggle. "Why, hello there, Darling. I am the great Lord Reudi. Did I mention my cousin is the King....."

*Character Background: Cousin to the Nharati King, Reudi is the best at what he does. A master of disguise and deception, he has been known to fool even the most perceptive. Yet, he is keenly aware of his surroundings, and the information within. Though he projects a feminine 'front', he is actually quite masculine beneath the flamboyant clothing, and yes, makeup. The King is the only one who is aware of true nature, and has called him in due to recent happenings within the Valenti castle.
