Kerrich Gael Somneri

Following Hnestor's declaration of allegience to Tyltin's bid to reclaim Nharati from the usurper, Kerrich was sent to the prince's host to serve as a treasurer/administrator. (known, backstory)

-Kerrich meets with Garnett to discuss the first draft of an agreement between the two Valenti princes. This contract is being returned to Drysllthen by Garnett for review. (known to Tyltin's inner circle, rumored among the rest of his host)

-Attended the infamous dinner during which the soup incident occurred. Met Drysllthen, Christiana, Deorwulf. [known] Enjoyed some of Christiana's awesome dancing skillz with Drysllthen in the secluded dining room. [rumored]

- Met Christiana and was introduced to Stephen Juntric in the garden. [known]

- Spent a drunken evening on the roof embroiled in conversation with Stephen. A variety of topics arose, from ladies to war tactics to discussions of loyalties. [mostly unknown. Kerrich may have been spotted stumbling inebriated to his chambers]

- Encountered Christiana in the parlor. Was asked/offered to escort her to Sarmagh on an errand for William. Discussed the planning of the upcoming ball/banquet, and finally got up the nerve to ask Christiana to meet him for supper! Woohoo!

- enjoyed an evening picnic with Christiana on the roof. A pleasant time was had by all! [rumored]

- Attended a strategic meeting with William, Stephen, Drysllthen and Tyltin. Was appointed chancellor by Drysllthen, who will assume the throne once it is captured. [known]

- met Mereavus, was told about Will's "list". Played a game of chess, shared some wine, and later took in the view from the roof with the lady. Throughout their discussion, he found that they had a fair bit in common... leaving Kerrich pleased to have made another friend! Yay! [unknown]

- Returned from Sarmagh, generally without incident! (save some naughty wimmin-types trying to show him up at riding!) [known]

- Was summoned to meet with Christiana, and much to his surprise... she decided to accept his offer after all! Well, part of it, in any case. Her terms included dispensing with the courting period. Kerrich agreed to her terms. [rumored]

- Attended a party in Drysllthen's honor, got the impression that General Alexston knew about his engagement before he did... how bizzarre! Escorted Christiana 'home' a short while into the party. [known, except for the suspicion over Will's apparent mind-readings!]

- Discussed his proposal to Christiana with Drysllthen, who declined to give his consent for the marriage. (Being chancellor sucks sometimes!) Drysllthen also sent the chancellor away from the castle to meet with/escort some foreign nobles in time for his coronation. [discussion unknown, departure from the castle known]

- Returned to Valwyn in time for the coronation with Petros and Cyndassa Galanos, of Laskaris. [known]

- Met with the king re: their new visitors' intentions, and plans for the coronation. Managed not to be sulky about Drysllthen's refusal to give his blessing to the wedding between the chancellor and Christiana, but the king did remark upon the chancellor's secrecy around his private life. [known]

- Ran into Diana Wintermore, introduced himself, spent some time chatting. With a free afternoon, she agreed to accompany him on a ride outside the castle grounds. The pair got a little drunk and bonded somewhat, before returning to the castle. [rumored]

- Sought out Lady Wintermore for more of the boring good times that both of them seem to enjoy so greatly. As a result, the chancellor began to suspect himself of being a little smitten with the lady, but stalwartly refused to act on this inkling given the ongoing situation with Christiana. [rumored]

- Was summoned by Christiana, who seemed (understandably) a little irritated over the letter the chancellor had sent her. He apologized profusely, and found much to his surprise, that she wasn't angry with him. They agreed to remain friends, but have yet to see each other again since then. Kerrich has thought little of this fact, attributing it to mutual awkwardness. [rumored]

- Was visited in his chambers by Lady Wintermore, after he'd stood her up in his Christiana-dismay-fueled absent-mindedness. She seemed surprised to find him so disheveled and asked what was wrong-- and was stonewalled, of course, by the chancellor's stubborn refusal to discuss his personal matters. Nevertheless, they enjoyed a nice chat and Diana agreed to make some banners for the upcoming coronation. [rumored]

- Attended the coronation and the ball following. Danced with several ladies of the court, but generally only had eyes for Diana. Left the party with her later, and a stroll by moonlight turned into a rousing game of hide the weasel. [attendance at the coronation/ball known, all else unknown]

- Met again with Diana, eventually confessed his budding attraction/affection and revealed his Christiana-related difficulties. She seemed very understanding, and reciprocated his interest. There has been discussion of marriage, but while they continue meeting regularly (and noisily) behind closed doors, Kerrich is reluctant to bring another marriage prospect to Drysllthen so quickly after the last one-- particularly given that neither he nor Diana is sure the king will approve of the match. - Continued his woo-ing of Diana, eventually proposing with a very sparkly ring out in the forest where they'd had their first meeting. She happily accepted. [known]

- Acquired the king's blessing for this marriage attempt, shared some conversation with Drysllthen and Diana over dinner. [known]

- Married Diana in a small, private ceremony, and though he's managed not to let his work slip, he's been sticking mostly to their chambers of late. [known]

- Met with Diana, who revealed some good news-- she is with child/potted plant! Swooned intolerably over his wife, and generally smothered her with attentiveness. [rumored]

- Welcomed Jozef to the castle, shared a little drink and some reminiscing. Inquired about having a necklace made to match Diana's engagement ring, as a gift to celebrate her vine in the oven. They were joined by Diana herself sometime later, and the schmoopy lovey stuff promptly drove Jozef to drink (heavily). [rumored]
