A warrant has been issued for the arrest of one Tamarilyn Direnni. Upon arrest, she will be taken into the King's custody for the duration of the march to and attack up on Valys.

As per the terms of the surrender agreement, the following arrangements have been made for Raegnold's surviving family:

Lady Rachelle Esdale and Lady Lark Esdale will be taken to the estate of His Majesty, King Drysllthen, in Kelenth in Leugeilean. Lady Rachelle is to be permitted a suitable time of mourning, after which point, His Majesty will arrange a marriage of acceptable rank within the Leugish court. Lady Lark Esdale will wed Lord Nial Forsythe, cousin to the Queen Mother, and remain in Leugeilean with her new husband. Arrangements have been made for departure within the next day. The Ladies Esdale will have sufficient military accompaniment to see that they arrive in Leugeilean without difficulty.

Lady Quess Esdale will remain in court in Valys as the ward of His Majesty with a position as Lady-in-waiting to the soon to be Princess Maeryn until a suitable marriage arrangment is found.

At His Majesty's word, a portion of Dulfwyn shall be set aside as the King's Forest. Within the boundaries of this forest, no hunting nor gathering shall be permitted without His Majesty's specific permission. Much of the land for this forest shall be taken from an estate held by His Majesty to the northeast of Valys. Additional contributors have been informed and properly compensated for the loss of property.

The combined forces of Nharati have safely navigated the passes into Karmenys. Under the leadership of the Crown Prince and the Generals, they have taken Grenleach on the coast of Karmenys. With Nharati's position secured in Karmenys, Crown Prince Tyltin and General Alexston have been summoned back to Valwyn while the siege continues on the strongholds within Karmenys.

By the King's order:

Patrols within Valys and the surrounding area have been increased to search for any additional signs of the threat which attacked the women in the cave. So far, no further Others have been found, but the search will continue.
The cave system outside the castle where the threat was localized shall remain under heavy guard. All obvious threats were destroyed by the King's men, but it shall be searched and cleansed completely with fire.
For failing to diligently perform their duties, the guards assigned specifically to keep watch over Princess Maeryn and Lady Esdale at the time of the attack have been stripped of all rank and standing within the garrison and executed.
For disrespecting the Queen, several servants assigned to the royal quarters have been dismissed from the castle while others have been reassigned to assist the kitchen with winter preparations.

Through the Queen Mother's quick action, the crown has apprehended a long-sought enemy of the crown, Synaria Rashna. She has been wanted these twenty-five years for her part in the murders of King Wyldrigrenkledrysllthen and Crown Prince Uhtred, beloved father of King Drysllthen. The Crown suspects her involvement in the recent attack on Crown Princess Maeryn and her ladies. Synaria Rashna has been confined under heavy guard for questioning and sentencing. Only the King himself and the Queen Mother are permitted to speak with the accused.

Crown Prince Tyltin Valenti executed the murderer and magician Synaria Rashna in the South Tower following questioning by both the King and the Crown Prince. Her body has been salted and given to the earth. Others involved in the murders of King Wyldrigrenkledrysllthen and Crown Prince Uhtred will face the same fate once apprehended.
