Character Background: "Princess" of the nation of Laskaris (which is sort of an ancient Greek-Roman amalgamation. This is an oligarchy -- a small group of rulers rather than one absolute ruler). Her life has been spent training in all manner of womanly and aristocratic arts; music, dance, philosophy and politics. Now of age to marry, the girl makes an excellent bartering chip for her father's political ambitions... though unbeknownst to him, her carnal interests lie almost exclusively with women.

More background: Laskaris is traditionally an epicenter of arts, music, and intellectualism-- that is to say, not warlike in the slightest. A treaty with Raegnold's Nharati had kept them protected, but with the former king dead and the two Valenti princes allied rather than busy waging a civil war against one another, the counselors of Laskaris fear attack, invasion, and loss of their culture. Petros Galanos, an elder counselor, was chosen to attend the new King Drysllthen's coronation and forge an agreement between the new united Nharati and Laskaris to ensure a continued peace between the two nations.
